We also provide three sinks, detergent, and tea towels so you can leave the kitchen clean and tidy.
Our refurbished laundry facility allows easy access from all areas of the Holiday Park.
A washing machine is available at $4 per use payable at the office, along with a coin-operated clothes dryer at $4 per dry cycle.
The laundry has two sinks for soaking / washing items, and clothes baskets. Two full length clothes lines, complete with clothes pegs, are situated directly behind the laundry for your use.
Shower & Toilet Blocks
Our ablution block has been completely refurbished providing a clean and welcoming environment.
All of our showers are on gas, ensuring an instant supply of hot water and pressure to be envied. Our showers are currently FREE without an automatic time limit imposed. To ensure they remain this way, please be considerate of others and conserve water usage.
There are a number of BBQ tables around the Holiday Park which can be moved to suit your seating requirements.
Recycling & Composting
At the Waipukurau Holiday Park, we encourage guests to minimise waste to landfill.
Recycling bins are provided behind the laundry for your use. Help us help the environment by taking the time to sort through and recycle your rubbish at camp.
Please place any food scraps in the ‘food waste’ bins.
Communal Garden & Fruit Trees
At the Waipukurau Holiday Park we have established a communal herb garden which is located in front of the kitchen and laundry. If using items from our herb garden, all we ask is that you take no more than you need, and if a regular user, give a little back and plant another herb.
We have two fruiting trees in the Holiday Park, lemon and orange. Guests are welcome to pick fresh fruit directly from our trees. Excess fruit will be placed in the kitchen for residents and guests to take home.
We are in the process of planting a mix of native plants around the holiday park.
Our intent is to attract native birds back into the area by providing appropriate nesting and shelter varieties, and numerous nectar plants, while also providing a colourful and private environment for our guests.
